Talgarth Studios

We will have a tour of five artist studios, who all work in the historic Talgarth Studios in Barons Court. Built in 1891, the row of houses along Talgarth Road was aimed at ‘bachelor artists’ (ie unmarried) with lovely large north facing windows and housekeepers apartments in the basements.

While some are now residential houses, happily some are still used for their original purpose. The artists, Christabel Blackburn, James Hayes, Florence Houston, James Vaulkhard and Isabella Watling will welcome us into their studios and throughout the evening we will be able to wander through all five spaces, view their work and meet the artists.
